Altered Lunch Tin!

Hi everyone,

It's Monday which means it is time for another challenge with the CCEE Stampers! And this week it is a supply challenge.

Tosh our challenge hostess for October sent each of us a cute little mini lunchbox, with the instructions to decorate and fill it!

So are you going to play along this week??? This week you need to alter something .... anything you like! Once you have created your card/project come back here and link to your card/project to this post using Mr Linky so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!

Before we get to our projects we created, I wanted to let you all know something. As you all know the holiday season is fast approaching and this can be a very busy time for many of us. With this in mind the CCEE Stampers have decided that this is a good time for us all to take a break from our weekly challenges for a couple of months. Don't worry we will be back ready and raring to go come the beginning of January!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to see you all back here then. Thank you so much for all the support you have given us during the past 10 months, and I hope you enjoy the holidays whichever ones you celebrate :)

OK now it is time to check out what the CCEE Stampers created this week.

CNFS - Sparkle Girl!

Good morning everyone and welcome back to our CCEE Stampers blog for another of our Monday challenges!

This week Tosh our challenge hostess of the month has another fun challenge for us all. As most of you know each month for one of our challenges we have our CNFS challenge (Catchy Name Featured Stamper), this is where the hostess for the month picks someone over on SCS who has a catchy user name. We then have to create our card around that name and any instructions that the hostess has given us for that particular challenge.

This month Tosh has selected Sparklegirl aka Silke Ledlow. Her instructions wereto make a Square card, and include a girl, some sparkle, and true to Silke’s style, a lot of white space. There’s a twist too. Since her name has the word Silk in it, you must use the Faux Silk technique found on here on Splitcoast Stampers. As you can see we are still on our "Shape Up" theme having to create a square card!

So are you going to play along this week??? All you need to do is to create a card following the challenge above. Once you have created your card/project come back here and link to your card/project to this post using Mr Linky so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!

This week we have two blog posts for you, so when you have finished reading this one scroll down so you can see what we are up to in the other post.

OK now it is time to check out what the CCEE Stampers created this week.

Let's Go Digital!

Greetings everyone and Happy Monday. Of course Monday's mean it is time for another CCEE Stampers challenge .... are you ready to play???

This week our challenge host for the month Frances challenged us all with a supply challenge. This is when we are all sent the same things and have to use those item/s to create our card or project for the challenge. This month Frances decided that we should all go digital.

Have you noticed that Digital Stamps or images (whatever you wish to call them) are becoming very popular in the stamping world. More and more companies are coming out with some wonderful designs that we want to use in our creations of our projects. Some places only sell digital images while some stamp companies are now also coming out with digital images that you can purchase too. Some companies even offer freebies too.

For our challenge today Frances purchased the digital image "End of Summer" for each of the CCEE Stampers from Mo’s Digital Pencil. You will find some wonderful images on this site so check it out and the fun thing about digital images is no waiting for the postie to deliver them. To use digital stamps/images all you need to do is download the image (you may need to purchase it first if it isn't a freebie), open it up on your computer either in you photo editing software or even your word program. One advantages of digital images is that you can resize them, flip them so they face the other way .... how cool is that! Just print them out on your card, color and create away!

While surfing for digital stamps recently I found a great site that lists many of the companies that sell digital images and also those who offer freebies. So just in case you haven't tried digital stamps yet you might want to check it out, you can find it here.

And here is another site that lists digital freebies.

So are you going to play along this week??? All you need to do is to create a card/project using any digital image. Don't have any Once you have created your card/project come back here and link to your card/project to this post using Mr Linky so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!
